Disability Benefits
Long-Term Disability benefits provide income replacement if you are unable to work for a period greater than 90 days due to a serious health condition, non-work-related injury, or disability, which includes illnesses or disabilities caused by pregnancy, childbirth, long-term illness, or other disabling medical conditions. If you are unable to return to work, you may receive benefits up to age 65.
Semi-Monthly Payroll Deductions
The cost of voluntary Long-Term Disability insurance is $0.50 per $100 of your salary. Deductions are calculated based upon your current salary.

Reliance Standard offers Long-Term Disability participants added benefits of Identity Theft Recovery Services and On Call Travel Assistance
- Identity Theft Recovery Services – Should you or anyone in your family fall victim to identity theft, InfoArmor Identity Protection may be able to help. To be covered by this identity theft service, you must first provide data to InfoArmor. They cannot protect you unless you proactively engage with them. If you suspect your personal information has been compromised, call 855.246.7347.
- On Call Travel Assistance – This benefit is available to you, as well as your dependents, and can be used when traveling more than 100 miles from home or when in a foreign country. On Call offers assistance with passport/visa requirements, currency exchange rates, and weather information.

Rather than enrollment through an outside Short-Term Disability vendor, the company provides Extended Sick Leave benefits at no cost. These benefits are described in further detail on page 17 of your benefits brochure, found on the home page of this website.
